Restitutions

2019: 203 volumes of Masonic literature restituted to the "Deutsche Freimaurermuseum e.V.". Among them two volumes out of the possesion of the library of the Freemason's lodge "Großloge zur Sonne".
2019:
Five volumes formerly in the possesion of the labour organisations "Deutscher Holzarbeiter Verband" and "Deutscher Metallarbeiter-Verband" to the IG Metall.
2018:
One book from the collection of the advocate Alexander Dünkelsbühler (1875-1935) to his heir Professor Rudolf Cohen. 
2017: 67 textbooks formerly in the possession of the Association of Catholic Teachers of Religion, dissolved in 1933 [‘gift’ by the Bavarian Ministry of Culture in 1938] restitued to "Verband der katholischen Religionslehrer und Religionslehrerinnen an den Gymnasien in Bayern e. V.“ (Colleges of higher education in Bavaria).
2017: 45 books formerly in the possession of the library of the Freemason's lodge "Zu den drei Weltkugeln" in Berlin, the lodge "Carl zu den drei Adlern" in Erfurt and the lodge "Glückauf zur Einigkeit und Treue" in Straßfurt restituted to Thomas Engel (Nationalgroßmeister).
2017: Ten books formerly in the possession of the "Kartell der freiheitlichen Vereine" in Munich to the "Dachverband Freier Weltanschauungsgemeinschaften e.V".
2017: One book of Socialist literature formerly in the possession of the Communist resistance fighter Wilhelm Olschewski  sen. (1871–1943) restituted to his great-grandson Ernst Grube.
2017: Two manuscripts and a print formerly in the possession of the orientalist Karl Süßheim (1878-1947) restituted in ccoperation with the Generaldirektion der Staatlichen Archive (Archives of the Bavarian State) to to the representatives of the heirs Lisa D'Angelo, Cynthia D'Angelo and Annalisa D'Angelo.
2017: One book of French literature formerly in the possession of Golo Mann (1909–1994) restituted to the Swiss Literary Archives in Bern.
2016: Three art history books formerly in the possession of the art historian Prof. August Liebmann Mayer of Munich (1885–1944) restituted to Angelika B. Mayer.
2016: One book formerly in the possession of the Fachverein der Wiener Schuhmacher restituted to the "Landesinnung Wien der Schuhmacher und Orthopädieschuhmacher".
2016: 27 books from the collection of the Austrian Freemason's lodges "Loge der Zukunft" (23 books), "Großloge von Wien" (4 books) restituted to Dr. Georg Semler (Großmeister der Großloge von Wien) and to Dr. Josef Stöger (Meister vom Stuhl, "Loge der Zukunft").
2015: 203 books formerly in the possession of the Serbian publisher Geca Kon restituted to the Serbian National Library in Belgrade.
2015: Three books from the library of the Hochschule für die Wissenschaft des Judentums (Higher Institute for Jewish Studies) restituted to the Abraham-Geiger-Kolleg at the University of Potsdam.
2015: Restitution of one book formerly in the possession of Fritz Henßlers (1886–1953) to be added to his bequest at the Stadtarchiv Dortmund.
2015: One book formerly in the possession of the Israelitische Kultusgemeinde Wien (Vienna Israelite Community)/Moritz Güdemann (1835–1918) restituted to the IKG Wien.

2013: 136 books from the collection of the Freemasons’ lodge ‘Zum aufgehenden Licht an der Isar’ restituted to the Distrikt Bayern der Großloge der Alten Freien und Angenommenen Maurer von Deutschland.
2008: 78 volumes from the private library of the writer and Nobel Prize laureate Thomas Mann restitued to the Thomas Mann Archive in Zurich.
2006: Two books formerly in the possession of Gabriele Rosenthal (1887–1942) restituted to her nephew, Uri Siegel.
